What do the labels on each card mean?
U+1D400 The Unicode codepoint the style's characters come from. Two styles can look almost identical and still be different characters with different device support. The codepoint is the only reliable way to tell which one you copied.
IGTTRB Platform support. Green renders reliably. Amber works, but breaks on some devices or in some fields. Struck through is filtered out or rejected by that platform.

U+0300X has the most restrictive handle rules of any major social platform. Where Instagram gives you 30 characters and TikTok 24, an X handle runs from 4 to 15 and accepts only letters, numbers and underscores, not even periods. That tightness is why short handles on X carry the value they do, and why styled text has nowhere to go except the display name.

How to use it
Copy a style above, then open your profile and choose Edit profile. Paste into the Name field. The handle beneath it cannot be changed to anything containing decorative characters, so do not attempt it there. Save, then view your own profile as a logged-out visitor would to check the result renders as you expect.
What works where
The handle accepts letters, numbers and underscores only, with a hard range of 4 to 15 characters. No periods, no spaces, nothing decorative. The display name is far more permissive and takes Unicode, which is where every styled name on the platform lives.
One consideration specific to X: the platform is unusually text-dense compared with Instagram or TikTok, and a display name appears repeatedly down a timeline next to every post. A style that reads well once in a profile header can become tiring when it appears forty times in a scroll. Styles with clear letterforms, bold, sans-serif, small caps, hold up better in that repetition than heavy blackletter or enclosed characters.
Why the handle rules are this tight
Four to fifteen characters, letters, numbers and underscores. No periods, which both Instagram and TikTok allow. It is the strictest handle field among the major platforms and it has been since the service launched, which is why short handles there carry the value they do.
The restriction exists for the same reason everywhere: a handle appears in a URL and has to match exactly in a search.
A consideration specific to a timeline
Your display name appears beside every post, not once on a profile page. A style that looks striking in a header can become wearing when it appears forty times in a scroll, and blackletter and enclosed characters are the two that tire fastest.
Bold, sans-serif and small caps hold up across repetition, which is the test that matters here more than on any other platform.
Common questions
Why won't my handle accept these characters?
X handles are limited to letters, numbers and underscores, and to between 4 and 15 characters. It is the strictest handle field among the major platforms. Even periods, which Instagram and TikTok allow, are refused. Styled characters go in the display name instead.
Which styles work best on a timeline?
Ones that stay legible when repeated. Your display name appears beside every post, so bold, sans-serif and small caps hold up better across a long scroll than blackletter or enclosed characters, which are striking once and wearing by the tenth time.
