What do the labels on each card mean?
U+1D400 The Unicode codepoint the style's characters come from. Two styles can look almost identical and still be different characters with different device support. The codepoint is the only reliable way to tell which one you copied.
IGTTRB Platform support. Green renders reliably. Amber works, but breaks on some devices or in some fields. Struck through is filtered out or rejected by that platform.

Double-struck, usually sold as outline text, comes from a specific and slightly charming problem. Mathematicians writing bold symbols on a blackboard could not produce a convincingly heavier stroke in chalk, so they took to doubling one stroke of the letter instead. The convention stuck, moved into print, and eventually into Unicode as its own set of characters beginning at U+1D538. The hollow look people choose it for today is a workaround for chalk.
Where it works, and where it breaks
Seven uppercase letters, C, H, N, P, Q, R and Z, are borrowed from the Letterlike Symbols block, because those positions in the mathematical block were already occupied by characters allocated earlier. Like every borrowed set, they were drawn separately and can sit slightly differently from the rest of the alphabet.
Digits are included, and unusually they are among the more recognisable characters in the style. Support is generally good, since the characters have been in the standard since 2001, though the borrowed capitals inherit whatever coverage their older block has rather than the maths block's.
The practical limitation is at small sizes. The hollow interiors that define the style are the first thing to close up when a device renders it small, and at bio size on a phone some letters can lose the distinction that makes them readable. It is a style that rewards being used for short, prominent text rather than body lines.
