This policy describes what actually happens on this site, not what a template says usually happens.

The text you type never leaves your browser

This is the important one. When you type into the generator, the styling happens entirely on your own device in JavaScript. Your text is not sent to this site's servers, not logged, and not stored anywhere. There is no copy of it for us to hand over, lose, or sell, because it never arrives.

The same is true of the bio builder. Everything you enter stays local.

What we do collect

Aggregate copy counts. When you tap Copy, the site records that a style was copied on a page. For example, that "bold" was copied on the Instagram page. It records the style name and the page name, nothing else. Not your text. Not who you are. These counts tell us which styles people actually use, which is how we decide what to build next.

Standard server logs. Like any website, the hosting server records requests: IP address, browser, page requested, time. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and are not combined with anything else.

Rate limiting. To stop the copy-counting endpoint being flooded, your IP address is hashed and held for one minute. The hash cannot be reversed to an address, and nothing is written to a database.

Cookies and analytics

The site does not set cookies to track you across the internet and does not build a profile of you.

Advertising is served by third parties, and ad networks do set their own cookies and may personalise ads based on your browsing. Their handling of that data is governed by their own policies, not this one, and it is the part of the site we have the least control over. Your browser's settings and your device's ad-tracking controls are the effective place to limit it.

What we never do

  • Store, log or transmit the text you type
  • Sell data to anyone
  • Require an account, an email address, or any identifying information to use the site

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you beyond server logs, there is generally nothing to request, correct or delete. If you believe otherwise, the contact page will reach us.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information that would identify anyone.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected in the last-updated date at the top of this page.
