Terms of use
Last updated
The short version: the site is free, whatever you generate is yours, and it comes with no guarantees. The rest is detail.
Using the site
TextStyleHub is free to use with no account. You may use the characters, styles and symbols it produces for anything, personal or commercial, without attribution or permission. They are Unicode characters, part of a public standard, and nobody owns them, including us.
What we do not guarantee
That a character will display on someone else's device. Whether a character renders depends on the fonts installed on the reader's device, which we have no control over and no way to test exhaustively. Pages here say which styles are more and less reliable, but none of it is a guarantee.
That a platform will accept it. Platforms change their rules without notice. A username field that accepts a character today may reject it next month. The information here is checked and dated, and it can still be out of date by the time you read it.
That platform limits and costs are current. Character limits, change cooldowns and rename prices are recorded from the best sources available, and games in particular change them often. Where a figure could not be confirmed, the page says so, but check anything you are about to spend money or a rename card on.
Use it honestly
Lookalike characters, the Greek, Cyrillic, Cherokee and Runic styles especially, can be used to make one word look like another. Platforms treat that as an attempt to evade moderation, and so do we. Using these styles on your own name is what they are for. Using them to impersonate someone, or to slip a word past a filter, is not, and it is likely to get your account actioned rather than ours.
Liability
The site is provided as-is. We are not liable for a name that was rejected, a bio that rendered as boxes, a rename card that was spent, or anything else arising from using it. If that seems unbalanced, it is the standard position for a free tool run by one person, and it is why the pages here are unusually cautious about telling you what might not work.
Not affiliated with anyone
TextStyleHub is not connected to Instagram, TikTok, Discord, WhatsApp, X, Roblox, Meta, Krafton, Garena, the Unicode Consortium, or any other company or organisation named on this site. Those names are used only to describe where the characters do and do not work.
Changes
Changes will be reflected in the last-updated date at the top of this page.
